Jack Frost TCE 631X

"Jack Frost" TCE 631X Horned White Icelandic Ram - single
We are so very pleased to add this ram to the flock. We are trying to improve the meat characteristics in our flock, and this boy should be perfect for that job. Wide throughout the back, chest, and rear, plus excellent muscling. This is one well built ram!  He doesn't have the high percentage of AI bloodlines that some rams have, but it doesn't matter with this guy. He is built like a high percentage ram. He also has those wonderful, wide horns from the Grimur bloodline. His disposition is very quiet and easy going, so far. We can't hardly wait to see his lambs this spring!
Jack's first lambs have hit the ground, and they are as nice as we had hoped! Plus, he still has the same mild temperament that he had when he first arrived in the fall.
D.O.B. May 4, 2010

Snow White FRRR 318X

"Snow White" White Horned Ewe - twin
This ewe has eye-catching, snowy white fleece, which was clearly passed on to her by her sire. She was one who continued to capture my attention all summer long, as I would walk out on the pastures. She was a bit small though, so I though I'd wait and see what shearing day would bring. I am so pleased with her conformation. There are so many things that can be hiding under all of that fleece, but she had nothing to hide. Very well put together. I will be letting her grow out until next fall before breeding her though.

Ivy FRRR 319X

White Horned Ewe - twin
Sire: Caspian

This lamb was very parasite resistant all summer long. Has moorit pigmentation around the eyes, so she probably carries moorit. I would not recommend breeding her this fall.

Georgie FRRR 305X

"Georgie" Black Gray Mouflan Horned Icelandic Ewe - twin
It is probable that Georgie cannot be bred, therefore she is being sold as a fiber animal only. She was born with very large thick horn buds, like a ram would have. Her horns are still larger than a typical ewes.  Her external female parts are also atypical. I believe that she would be considered a hermaphrodite. She would probably make a good companion animal for a ram where a person wishes to keep only one ram on the farm. She has very nice fleece and a pretty, feminine head. Our shearer said that she would probably live a very long and healthy life, since
she will never have the stress of lambing, nor the stress of a breeding ram.

Flora FRRR 335X

Black Gray Spotted Horned Icelandic Ewe - single
Sire: Tumnus
Dam: Pomona
D.O.B. April 2010
Flora was not put into the breeding pen this year. I decided to give her another summer to grow out before breeding. She should be very hardy and lamb easily, as her mother and grandmother are both that way. She carries black, moorit, spotting and grey. She should add a lot of nice color to your flock.
Price: $300 registered (On Deposit)

Dotty FRRR 330X

White Horned Ewe - twin
Sire: Teton
Dam: Ma
Dotty is technically a white ewe even though she has a spot of black on her side. It is the equivalent of having a hole in her "white pajamas" and being able to see the color under the pajamas. :o)

Update: I have decided that I think Dotty is actually spotted. When she was shorn, the black spot had a grey base, and so I believe that this would actually make her a black grey spotted icelandic.

Flock dispersal price $300

Chloe FRRR 314X

White Horned Ewe - twin

Prince Caspian FRRR 209W

"Prince Caspian" FRRR 209W Horned White Ram (single to a one winter ewe)
Beautiful ram right from the start. His mother was able to deliver him on her own despite his huge horn buds. He has a nice wide set of horns that are clear of his face. He has shown good parasite resistance so far. His wool is an improvement over his sires, as it is soft, thick and lusterous. He definitely passes on his beautiful fleece qualities to his offspring. Cas is a little bit longer bodied than his sire, Teton. He has a friendly and easy going temperament.
